Pakistan scored 443 runs in first innings with help of  Azhar Ali (205* runs),  Shafiq (50 runs) and  Sohail Khan (65 runs). Australian Bowlers Hazlewood and Bird took 3 wickets each.

In Reply,  Australia scored massive 624 in 142 overs.Australian skipper Steven Smith unbeaten 165 runs and Opener David Warner smashed 144 runs.  Mitchell Starc quick fired 84 runs in 91 balls with help of 7 sixes and 3 fours.


Pakistan behind 181 runs and started to play 2nd innings in fifth day of the match, Pakistan scored only 163 runs for lost all wickets in 53.2 overs. Only two Pakistan batsman scored 30 Plus runs Azhar Ali (43) and Sarfraz Ahamed (43).

Australia take a 1-0 lead in the Three match series. Pakistan scored 450 in the final innings but lost by 39 runs.


Day 4:

Pakistan : 142 & 450 (Shafiq 137, Azhar Ali 71)  lost to Australia  : 429 &  202/5 dec (Usman Khawaja 74,  smith 63) .

Day 3:

Pakistan : 142 & 70/2 (Azhar Ali 42*)  Against Australia (First Innings) : 429 &  (Second Innings ) 202/5 dec (Usman Khawaja 74,  smith 63) .

Day 2 :

Australia (First Innings) : 429 ( Steven Smith 130, Matt Renshaw 71, Peter Handscomb 105) in 130.1 overs Against Pakistan (First Innings ) : 97/8 (Mitchell Starc 3/45, Hazlewood 3/19, Jackson Bird 2/7).

Day 1:

Australia Won the Toss and elected to Bat first in Brisbane. Matt Rehshaw and David Warner opened innings for Australia.




Mohammad Amir dismissed  David Warner (32 runs) in 28th over.  Matt Rehshaw and David Warner  added 70 runs in 27.1 overs for first wicket partnership.  Yasir Shah dismissed Usman Khawaja (4 runs) in the next over. Then Captain Smith joined with Matt Rehshaw . Matt Rehshaw scored maiden half-century.  Wahab Riaz got Matt Rehshaw (71 runs) in 44th over.

Steven Smith scored his 16th Test century and first against Pakistan.  Peter Handscomb scored his half century and first with pakistan. Australia scored 288 runs loss of three wickets in 90 overs.
