Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli in 2016

India's run machine Virat Kolhi debut in August 2008 against Sri Lanka scored 12 runs in ODI.In just eight years in international cricket, he has become the cornerstone of India's Test team, a finisher par excellence in ODIs and a dominant force in T20s.
2016 was a golden year for Indian Skipper Virat Kohli. Virat Kolhi, who has scored 2,595 runs in international cricket this year including three double centuries.  Virat's tally of runs in 2016 stands 1215 runs @ 75.93 with 4 tons and 2 fifties in 12 Tests.

In ODIs, Kohli accumulated 739 runs at an unbelievable average of 92.37 with 3 centuries and a strike-rate of 100.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli scored two fifties and four hundreds in Test the year of 2016. He scored three double hundreds in 2016 against West Indies, New Zealand and England each one.


He scored 200 runs in 283 balls with help of 24 fours against West Indies in North Sound Jul 2016

He scored 211 runs in 366 balls with help of 20 fours against  New Zealand in Indore  Oct 2016

He scored 167 runs in 267 balls with help of 18 fours against  England in Visakhapatnam Nov 2016

He scored 235 runs in 340 balls with help of 25 fours and 1 Six against England in  Mumbai  Dec 2016 and helped them win the Test by an innings and 36 runs. .

Virat's contribution in India's historic 4-0 home Test series win against England in November-December 2016 was immense.

Virat Kohli scored three double centuries in one year and has equaled Don Bradman's record.
