The farmers of the country and especially Tamil Nadu have been suffering a menacingly gloomy life for the past few decades. Support for them were only whispered around sporadically by self serving politicians, but today all that has changed as the voice of the farmer rings like a million canons.
At this relevant time comes Gopi Nainar’s ‘Aramm’ which tackles the burning issue of the plight of the farmers and the teaser amplifies it in almost every shot of the 1minute 6 second running time. Nayan gets a mass hero entry and the writing on the wall is she has nailed the District Collector character to the T. One gets the feeling that an intense docudrama is on the anvil and the team have cooked up enough curiosity with this neat and crisp cut.
