India Beat Australia by 5 wickets in Indore and clinch Series

Earlier, a rollicking all-round performance by the Indian team helped them clinch the five-match ODI series 3-0 against Australia on Sunday. 

Australia have posted a total of 293 runs at the loss of just six wickets against India in Indore. 

Virat Kohli and team restricted Australia to 293/6 after a superb comeback by the bowlers in the death overs.

Rohit Sharma and Rahane started off the blocks in fashion. 100 runs came from first fifteen overs and the platform was set-up.  

Coulter-Nile has got Rohit Sharma Out Caught by the Cartwright (sub). Rohit Sharma departs after scoring 71 runs from 62 balss with 4 sixes and 6 fours. 

Rahane and Pandya also scored breezy half centuries to help india chase 294 runs against Australia.
Rahane scored 70 runs from 76 balls with 9 fours, While Pandya smashed 78 rusn off 72 deliveries with four sixes and 5 Fours 

 In reply, India opener Rohit Sharma (71) and Ajinkya Rahane (70) gave hosts a solid start in run-chase as they stitched together a 100 plus-run partnership. 

Australia, however, fought back with couple of quick wickets but Hardik Pandya (78), who was promoted to No.4 position, had other plans as he powered the Men in Blue to a five-wicket victory.

1st T20I : England beat India by 7 wickets and lead T20 series 1-0

England 148 for 3 (Morgan 51, Root 46*, Chahal 2-27) beat India 147 for 7 (Dhoni 36*, Raina 34,  Moeen 2-21) by seven wickets.

In the First T20I at Kanpur, England won the toss and  choose bowl first.  Virat and KL Rahul Opened the batting for India. Rahul  scored only 8 runs and  Skipper Virat Kolhi scored 29 runs with help of 4 fours.   


England Bowlers led by Moeen Ali's (2/21) and good supported by Jordan (1/27) and Pace Bowler Tymal Mills (1/27) executed their plan well. 

MS Dhoni Top Scored unbeaten 36 runs for India.  All rounder Raina scored 34 runs and other batsman are failed to score runs. India  scored only 147 runs in 20 overs with loss of 7 Wickets. 

In the end,  India might blame their middle-order problems for not posting a big enough total.  Middle-order  Batsman Yuvraj Singh, Pandya and Manish Pandey did n't score good enough.

  England Opener gave the explosive start and 36 runs from 3 overs.  Chahal  removed both opener in his first over. Then Eoin Morgan and Root added 83 runs for third wicket partnership.

England Captain Eoin Morgan fired 51 runs in 38 balls and Root scored unbeaten 46 to help to England chase the total.  

England  chased down 148 with 11 ball remaining and lost only 3 wickets.

MS Dhoni quits Indian cricket ODI and T20 captaincy, but play as Wicket keeper-Batsman.

MS Dhoni stands as one of the modern-day cricketing greats,  scoring 1112 runs in 73 T20 Matches at 35.87, and 9110 runs in 283 one-day internationals at 50.89. 

MS Dhoni has stepped down as captain of India's limited-overs teams ahead of the ODIs and T20Is against England in January. He will still be available for selection as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the series, though, the BCCI said on Wednesday evening.

Dhoni, 35, had given up the Test captaincy in December 2014, when he retired from the format after the Melbourne Test. However, he stayed on as ODI and T20 international captain after having taken on those roles in 2007.

He was India's most successful captain, leading the team to victory in the 2007 World T20 in South Africa, the 2011 World Cup in India, and the 2013 Champions Trophy in England. Dhoni captained India in 199 ODIs, of which he won 110 and lost 74. He was captain in 72 T20Is, of which India won 41 and lost 28.

Dhoni made 6633 ODI runs as captain at an average of 54 and a strike rate of 86. As captain in T20Is, Dhoni scored 1112 runs at a strike rate of 122.60.
