3rd T20I : Chahal 6 wickets haul India Seal the T20I Series

Six wickets for Chahal as India thrash England. Chahal became the Second bowler to take six wickets in Twenty-20 Cricket internationals after Ajantha Mendis. 

England 127 (Root 42, Morgan 40,  Chahal 6-25) Lost to India 202 for 6 (Suresh Raina 63, MS Dhoni 56,  Yuvaraj Singh 27) by 75 Runs.


In the Third T20I at Bangalore, England won the toss and  choose bowl first.   India had one change Pant comes in and Manish Pandey  out.

A career-best 56 from MS Dhoni and a 4th  fifty from Raina helped the home side reach 6-202 from the full 20 overs.


Virat and KL Rahul Opened the batting for India.  England removed Skipper Virat Kolhi early when he scored 2 runs.

Suresh Raina joined with KL Rahul for 2nd wicket partnership and added 61 runs from 6.1 overs.

Unfortunately KL Rahul Out with No ball bowled by Stokes. Umpire didnt notice. Rahul scored 22 runs with one six and 2 fours.


MS Dhoni Joined with Suresh Raina for 3rd wicket partnership and added 55 runs from 6.1 overs.

Yuvaraj Singh Joined with MS Dhoni for 4th wicket partnership and added 57 runs from just 4.4 overs.

2nd T20I : India beat England by 5 runs and level the T20I series 1-1.

England 139 for 6 (Ben Stokes 38, Root 38, Nehra 3-28) Lost to India 144 for 7 (KL Rahul 71, Manish Pandey 30,  Jordan 3-22) by 5 Runs.

In the Second T20I at Nagpur, England won the toss and  choose bowl first.   India had one change Amit Mishra comes in and Rasool out.



Virat and KL Rahul Opened the batting for India. Skipper Virat Kolhi scored 21 runs in 15 balls with help of 2 fours and one Six. Jordan removed Virat Kolhi in 5th over. 

In the end,  India might blame their middle-order problems for not posting a big enough total.  Middle-order  Batsman Yuvraj Singh (5), Raina (7) and MS Dhoni(5) did n't score good enough.

  KL Rahul's innings was all the more laudable for the fact that most batsmen found scoring difficult on a slow and capricious pitch.  Rahul returns to form and scored fifty against England. Today KL Rahul had good knock and fired 71 runs in 47 balls with help of 2 sixes and 6 fours. 

In Middle Manish Pandey support Rahul and added 56 runs in 6.5 overs for 4th wicket partnership. India  scored only 144 runs in 20 overs with loss of 8 Wickets.

England Bowlers led by  Jordan's (3/22) and good supported by Moeen Ali (1/20) and Pace Bowler Tymal Mills (1/36) executed their plan well. 

 England would not have expected a target of  145 to trouble them. But it did. Their top order tends to finish games off. Not this time. Middle Order batsmen not accustomed to finishing an innings. 


Nehra Removed Both England Opener Roy(10) and Billings(11) in 4th over. And then Eoin Morgan Joined with Joe Root add 43 runs for 3rd wicket partnership. Amit Mishra dismissed Eoin Morgan in 11th over.

Ben Stokes Joined with Joe Root and added 52 runs in 6.4 overs. Again Nehra got another wicket and dismissed  Ben Stokes (38) in 17th over. Bumrah had Joe Root and Jos Butler bowled in the Last over to seal India's Win.   

 England required 41 off 30 with seven wickets in hand, 32 off 24 wit seven wickets in hand and eight off the final over with six wickets in hand. That India still managed to win was courtesy some sensational end-overs bowling by Bumrah.

England 148 for 3 (Morgan 51, Root 46*, Chahal 2-27) beat India 147 for 7 (Dhoni 36*, Raina 34,  Moeen 2-21) by seven wickets.

In the First T20I at Kanpur, England won the toss and  choose bowl first.  Virat and KL Rahul Opened the batting for India. Rahul  scored only 8 runs and  Skipper Virat Kolhi scored 29 runs with help of 4 fours.   


England Bowlers led by Moeen Ali's (2/21) and good supported by Jordan (1/27) and Pace Bowler Tymal Mills (1/27) executed their plan well. 

MS Dhoni Top Scored unbeaten 36 runs for India.  All rounder Raina scored 34 runs and other batsman are failed to score runs. India  scored only 147 runs in 20 overs with loss of 7 Wickets. 



In the end,  India might blame their middle-order problems for not posting a big enough total.  Middle-order  Batsman Yuvraj Singh, Pandya and Manish Pandey did n't score good enough.

  England Opener gave the explosive start and 36 runs from 3 overs.  Chahal  removed both opener in his first over. Then Eoin Morgan and Root added 83 runs for third wicket partnership.

England Captain Eoin Morgan fired 51 runs in 38 balls and Root scored unbeaten 46 to help to England chase the total.  

England  chased down 148 with 11 ball remaining and lost only 3 wickets.

India 759 for 7 dec (Nair 303*, Rahul 199, Parthiv Patel 71, Ashwin 67) beat England 477 (Moeen 146, Root 88, Jadeja 3-106) and 207 (Jennings 54, Cook 49, Jadeja 7-48) by an innings and 75 runs

England scored 477 runs in first innings with help of Moeen Ali (146 runs)  Joe Root (88 runs)and   Dawsan (46 runs). Indian Bowlers Jadeja took 3 wickets. Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadev took 2 wickets each.

In Reply India scored massive 759 runs with loss of 7 wickets in first innings with help of  Karun Nair (303* runs),  KL Rahul (199 runs).

England behind 282 runs and started to play 2nd innings in fourth day of the match, England scored 12 runs without losing wicket at end of the time.


In Day 5 England only scored 205 runs and lost all wickets. Jadeja dismissed 7 wickets in Second innings to help seal India victory.

England scored 284 runs loss 4 wickets in first innings with help of  Moeen Ali  (120*),  Joe Root (88 runs and  Jonny Bairstow  (49 runs). Indian Bowlers Jadeja took 3 wickets and Ishant Sharma took 1 wicket.

The England cricket team arrived in India participated in the 5-match Test series. The first Test between the two teams in Rajkot was Draw .India won the next Three Test Match (Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Mohali) and won the series 3-0.

At this stage, India-England cricket match between the 5th and final Test in Chennai Chepauk Stadium tomorrow (Friday) starting at 9:30.

England scored 400 runs in first innings with help of  Jennings (112 runs),  Buttler (76 runs), Moeen Ali (50 runs) and  Cook (46 runs). Indian Bowlers Ashwin took 6 wickets and Jadeja took 4 wickets.


In Reply India scored massive 631 in 182.3 overs.  India scored 364 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at one stage. Virat Kohli joined with  Jayant Yadav  added 241 runs the 8th wicket. His batting skills along with Virat Kohli expressed pleasant.  Jayant Yadav scored his maiden Test century.

Indian skipper Virat kolhi  (235 runs) smashed double hundred. Opener Vijay (136 runs) and Jayant Yadev (104 runs) scored hundred.


England bowler Rashid Ali took 4 wickets.  Moeen Ali and Joe Roots took two wickets each.

England behind 231 runs and started to play 2nd innings in fourth day of the match, England scored 182 runs for 6 wickets loss at end of the time.

Joe Root Top Scored  77 runs for England team. wicket Keeper Batsman Bairstow unbeaten 50 runs in end of day four. Ashwin, Jadeja and grabbed 2 wickets each.

Fifth Day of the Fourth Test Indian Off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin claimed four wickets in just half-an-hour on Monday morning to send England crashing to 195 all out.Ashwin Excellent bowling to struggled England team. 

The first test  was draw in Rajkot and hten  The 246-run difference in the 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam.
In 3rd Test at Mohali was won by 8 wickets difference.  'hat-trick' win for India and won the series against England.

Ravindra Jadeja  was man of the match for his 90 in the first innings and two wickets in the both innings. 

Day 4:

Starting the day at 78/4, England lost two wickets in day 4 first session.  England scored only 236 runs and set the target 103 runs for India. wicketkeeper-Batsman Parthiv Patel Scored unbeaten 67 runs to help India chase the modest score 103.

In Reply, India scored 417 runs in first innings with help of  Ravindra Jadeja (90 runs),  Ashwin (72 runs), Virat Kolhi (62 runs) and  Jayant Yadev (55 runs). England Bowlers  Adil Rashid  took 4 wickets .

Starting the day at 268/8, England lost 2 wickets and another scored 15 runs. Mohammed Shami took two wickets.

Mohammed Shami was the most successful among the Indian bowlers with figures of 3/63. Jayant Yadav Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja produced excellent displays of bowling to pick up two wicket each.

Umesh Yadev struck first wicket Haseeb Hameed (9 runs)  in 10 over.  Ashwin dropped catch for Alastair Cook when he was 23.

Jayant Yadev removed inform batsman Joe Root (15 runs) in 15th over. R Ashwin got England Captain Alastair Cook (27 runs) in 16th over.


Mohammed Shami removed Moeen Ali (16 runs) in 27th over.  England Lost 4 wickets only scored 87 runs in 26.3 overs.  Excellent Bowling from Indian Bowler.

Ravindra Jadeja got Ben Stokes (29 runs) in 44th over  stumped by  Parthiv Patel

Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes  added 57 runs partnership for 5th wicket in 17.3 overs.

Jos Buttler scored 43 runs off  80 deliveries.  He added 69 runs with Jonny Bairstow  for sixth wicket partnership.

wicketkeeper-Batsman  Jonny Bairstow continue his excellent form scored 89 runs  with six boundaries. 

Jayant Yadav Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets each. Mohammed Shami and R Ashwin took one wicket each.
